Michael Tsinzovsky's graduation thesis project was inspired by the culture of Israel. A complex and rich society, he had much to work with despite it being a challenging subject to work with. It required Michael Tsinzovsky to dig deep into the recesses of this amazing culture in order to truly imbue his work with the soul of Israeli design.
As a project for Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, which is located in Jerusalem, Michael Tsinzovsky had to tread lightly, especially since Israel is a young country on very old soil. Yet the result is stunning. Instead of focusing completely on Israeli influences, Michael Tsinzovsky incorporated other aesthetics such as German woodworking that created an overall East-meets-West effect.
