Famed actor and director Spike Lee has organized a public party in honor of Michael Jackson’s birthday. The party, which will be held on what would have been Michael Jackson’s 51st birthday (Saturday, August 29th), will take place in Brooklyn at the Nethermead meadow in Prospect Park.
A crowd of more than 10,000 is expected to attend Michael Jackson’s tribute birthday celebration, with Reverend Al Sharpton present to say a prayer. Brooklyn Borough president, Marty Markowitz, will declare August 29th as Michael Jackson Day.
The Michael Jackson birthday celebration will also have DJ Spinna playing all things MJ. The afternoon is sure to be filled with fun celebrations as fans remember the King of Pop.
