Plug-In Case Glasses

Meta Adds A Lower-Priced Smart Glasses Option

Meta is expanding its Meta Glasses lineup with Meta Adventurer, a simpler version that removes the battery-equipped charging case in exchange for a lower $249 price. The glasses come in a single configuration, with a black frame and grey lenses.

Unlike other versions that can recharge inside a powered case, Meta Adventurer’s case needs to be plugged in before it can charge the glasses. The change reduces some of the convenience of the charging setup while making the entry point to the range more affordable.

Meta is also adding an Ivory finish to the Kylie edition, giving the collection a more fashion-focused option. The wider Meta Glasses lineup is expected to reach additional markets later this year, as Meta continues to expand the range beyond its existing markets.

The new model adds another price and design point within Meta’s smart glasses collection, while the updated Kylie colourway puts more emphasis on appearance alongside the glasses’ technology.
