The eyewear brand Oakley has expanded its Performance AI glasses portfolio with new colorways for the Oakley Meta Vanguard and Oakley Meta HSTN models. As part of this announcement, the brand calls attention to the Prizm Transitions lenses that combine Transitions light-adaptive technology with Oakley's Prizm contrast-enhancing lens technology. This model is available starting March 31st. Additional Vanguard styles featuring Transitions Ember, Red, Blue, and Cobalt lenses are arriving in May.
Oakley's Transitions technology responds to UV exposure by shifting from a lighter tint indoors or in low light to a darker sun lens outdoors, while Prizm technology enhances colour and contrast to help athletes and consumers maintain clarity and comfort across different and demanding activities.
The Vanguard line is offered in Black with Prizm Black lenses, Black with Prizm Transitions Ember, White with Prizm Rose Gold, and various accessory lens options, including Dark Golf, Rose Gold, and multiple Transitions colours. The HSTN line, on the other hand, includes Light Curry with Clear-to-Brown Transitions and Black with Prizm Dark Golf.
