MELE Was Specifically Created to Support Melanin-Rich Skin

While most skincare brands create products for all skin types, MELÉ is a new brand that declares: "for 'all skin types' isn't our type." MELÉ makes nourishing, science-led skincare products that specifically consider the needs of melanin-rich skin.

Products from the brand are grouped into categories like Refresh, Enhance and Protect, and they include solutions for enhancing and protecting skin in the form of moisturizers, serums, creams and more. Notably, the EVEN Dark Spot Control Serum from MELÉ was recognized as one of the Best Beauty Products of 2020, according to O, The Oprah Magazine.

The new skincare brand came to life thanks to Black female Unilever executives—Esi Eggleston-Bracey, Unilever North America Beauty & Personal Care EVP and COO and Sarah Irby, Unilever North America Brand Director.
