Mekamon V2 sets itself apart as a gaming robot that fuses the real world with augmented reality, as well as entertainment and education. While there are many comparable toys that boast rugged forms that are capable of tackling tough terrain and are designed to be remotely operated, Mekamon V2 challenges kids to test the bot's ability across different surfaces. Additionally, kids are able to use the companion app to create custom movements using Apple's programming language.
The gaming robot also pits players against one another in competitive augmented reality gameplay for their chance to be recognized on the game's global leaderboard.
