These new Meijer private label products have been added to the grocer's portfolio to help consumers meet their intake goals for fiber and protein.
The new products come in more than 300 varieties, which will make it easier for consumers to make healthy food choices without breaking the bank. The products include more than 120 Meijer-exclusive products that contain five-grams or more of fiber per serving and will thus help consumers to meet their recommended daily intake for fiber. The products will also enhance the brand's existing options that are protein-rich, which will now include more than 700 options with 10-grams of protein or more per serving.
Chief Merchandising and Marketing Officer Don Sanderson spoke on the new Meijer private label products saying, "Both fiber and protein are great ways to support everything from gut health to mental health, and provide steady energy. It’s important to us at Meijer that we are offering our shoppers options that help them meet their health goals and are accessible on a budget, and that’s exactly what these products are designed to do.”
