Los Angeles-based start-up company Apption Labs created a new tool called the 'MEATER' that is designed to help take the guesswork out of cooking meat.
This simple device is designed to help chefs obtain the optimal cooking temperature, and help to ensure meats like chicken, pork, fish or beer are ready and safe to serve. The wireless meat thermometer resembles a nail in appearance, but comes packed with electronics and thermal technology allowing the device to sync with your smartphone.
Dual sensors located in the 'MEATER' measure the internal and external temperatures of a meat, and sends data and push notifications letting them know when their food is done cooking. With this clever meat thermometer, cooks are then able to prepare other dishes, or just lay back and enjoy a drink, without any culinary worries.
