The McDonald's X Luxirare Mock Collab showcases what happens when fast food and upper class tastes collide. The post describes the ready to go meals as luxurious, especially when mixed with these high end ingredients.
This upscale McDonald's meal exchanges chicken nuggets for bits of fried sea urchin, a choice that was explicitly inspired by an epic dish served at the Nobu restaurants. The tempura batter made for a crispy outer layer, mimicking the look of poultry chunks.
Shiso leaf was used to wrap the thin urchin slices. The lime and salt-based dip paired with the greens is much like McDonald's mayonnaise as far as consistency goes, although the two are worlds apart. The best twist comes from Rozay champagne which is served on ice just like fountain pop drinks.
