Graphic Design-Inspired Furniture

Matt W. Moore Has Started the Core Deco Company

Matt W. Moore is a graphic designer who has decided to expand his expertise into furniture design. Instead of just sticking to promotional tools such as posters and web, Moore is pushing the boundaries and trying his hand at something that ultimately compliments his graphic design skills.

Pieces in his furniture collection include tiles, pillows, tables and even rugs. He chooses to adorn these pieces with very geometric patterns, making it clear that he is a graphic designer first and foremost. Instead of just thinking about the structure of the furniture, Matt W. Moore focuses much of his attention on the overall patterns and aesthetic of the pieces, which results in extremely colorful and distinctive designs. The tiles, for example, could even be used as cup coasters.
