What a totally brilliant idea! When we light a match stick, we usually use a small portion of the wood while the rest goes to waste.
Italian designer Paolo Ulian came up with this extremely simple, yet utterly innovative, design of a double-sided match that allows the same stick to be used twice and thus cuts wood waste by half.
Ulian even came up with a convenient matchbox design that has two compartments; one for fresh matches and one for half used ones.
Now why didn't someone think of this already? Really!!!
