Graphic designer and illustrator Richard Kingston created this stunning collection of art and movie mashup posters. The humorous series combines historically divine pieces of museum art and presents each one as a remixed movie poster.
A great example of one of the mashup posters is the painting of Da Vinci’s ‘Lady with an Ermine,’ which has been recreated using characters from the ‘Alien’ franchise. This images has now been renamed ‘Lady with a Vermin.’ To add another creative aspect to the series, each image has been given a new name that is reflective of the newly created hybrid artworks.
The series is an extension of an existing project called ‘Old Masters Remastered.' The original project is similar to this addition because they each depict old piece of artworks as modernized situations.
