Like me, I am positive that everyone who comes across Markus Reugels' stunning water drop photographs will be mesmerized by how surreal each image is.
The images may look computer generated, but the true beauty about Markus Reugels' meticulous photographs is that they are in fact real life captures. Since he specializes in high-speed photography, I guess I shouldn't be so surprised that he was able to photograph such unreal images. Of course, it takes more than a steady hand and patience to get shots like these.
Markus Reugels used guar gum to thicken the water in order to get the singular shapes you see before you. By adding sugar as well, he was able to increase the height of each splash.
