The Maria Luisa Tadei Octopus Sculpture is Enchanting

Sea creatures bring a certain mystical enchantment to life, and the Maria Luisa Tadei Octopus Sculpture captures this feeling exactly. The giant installation can be seen in London, at the St. Katherine Docks in Thomas More Square. This beautiful and fantasy-filled piece is just one of two installations that Tadei has been working on.

The mammoth-sized installation was created using a steel frame and made solid with concrete. It’s completely covered in colorful glass tiles, which gives it a lovely mosaic appearance. Tadei uses many colors to make the piece pop including different shades of, blues, reds, greens, oranges and pinks.

If you’re a fan of the sea and you’re around London then you should go check this out first hand.
