The Manuel Bolaño Spring/Summer 2014 Collection is Eclectic

The Manuel Bolaño Spring/Summer 2014 collection took to the runway stage during 080 Barcelona Fashion week. Entitled “Bleu en Français”, this eccentric line of menswear embodied a theme of dystopia that was matched with an opposing idea of human optimism and hope.

Models took to the runway stage as they sported light-weight, transparent and delicately layered ensembles that each boasted a complex and flamboyant design aesthetic.

These eccentrically elegant pieces were paired with sinister props that included patched-up teddy bears and surgical masks. Moreover, models walked the runway with dotted paper appliques on their faces that resembled glittering dust. Presented in a pastel palette, the Manuel Bolaño Spring/Summer 2014 married themes of both darkness and light in today's society.
