After this proposal was shut down by, the company discovered that while dealerships weren't prohibited on mall grounds, car rental services were. With the help of the rental company TREVLS, Tesla was able to make its high-end models more accessible to the general public.
Day rates for these electric vehicle rentals start at $195, but hourly rates are available for those looking to test drive the vehicle for a shorter duration.
