The Maison Margiela Replica 'Vintage Graffiti' Sneakers are Retro
Michael Hemsworth — March 28, 2020 — Fashion
The Maison Margiela Replica 'Vintage Graffiti' Sneakers have been unveiled by the France-based high-fashion brand as a new footwear style created in collaboration with luxury online retailer Mytheresa. The sneakers see the brand's iconic Replica sneaker, which was first shown off during the brand's Spring/Summer 1999 show, covered in an array of handwritten graffiti. This includes a number of French sayings and more, which are all accented by an array of other doodles that give the one-of-a-kind footwear its distinct charm.
The Maison Margiela Replica 'Vintage Graffiti' Sneakers will be available globally via the Mytheresa website starting April 1 at a price point of €550. The sneakers are further accented by white paint on the rubber sole to reinforce the street art-inspired style the footwear has.
