The Magzip magnetic zipper by Under Armour is a brand new twist on the traditional zipper. The basic zipper requires two hands to do up properly. The kind of coordination required for that one simple act may elude some people, including toddlers, those with injuries affecting the use of their arms and the extremely inebriated. The Magzip is, as its name implies, built with a magnet that will cause the ends of the zipper to latch together with out the aid of your hand. So, all you need to do is use one hand to bring one end of the zipper close enough to the other to activate the magnet, then pull the zipper up.
This Magnetic Zipper is fast and easy and can help toddlers learn to zip up their jackets on their own or assist those with arm injuries that leave them partially immobile.
