DoorDash Canada Empowers Women Chefs with "Made by Women" Platform

DoorDash Canada marks International Women's Day with a powerful new initiative: the Made by Women platform. This platform celebrates and empowers female culinary leaders, amplifying their voices and contributions to Canada's vibrant restaurant scene.

Kicking off the program, DoorDash partners with Monday Girl to offer fifteen $10,000 grants to women-owned restaurants. Recognizing the underrepresentation of women in the industry (only 17% of Canadian restaurant ownership), DoorDash and Monday Girl are committed to fostering an environment where these businesses can flourish.

The Made by Women platform goes beyond grants. It offers a comprehensive support system, including access to marketing, educational, and financial resources. This empowers women-owned restaurants to not only survive but thrive within the DoorDash ecosystem.

Women restaurateurs can learn more and apply for grants between March 8th and April 15th, 2024.
