Black Opportunity Fund Partners with DoorDash Canada

In partnership with the Black Opportunity Fund, DoorDash Canada introduced #BlackFoodEnergy grants, each of which is $10,000 and distributed to Black-owned and led restaurants across Canada.

This initiative is part of a broader commitment to empower local economies and support underserved entrepreneurs in the culinary industry. According to the Head of Consumer Brand Marketing at DoorDash, Delly Dyer "Investing in Black chefs and Black restaurateurs across Canada who contribute to the fabric of their neighborhood can feed meaningful change with lasting impacts in all of our communities."

By the end of 2025, DoorDash Canada aims to distribute $800,000 in #BlackFoodEnergy grants through this long-term partnership with the Black Opportunity Fund. This initiative underscores DoorDash's dedication to fostering growth, opportunity, and success for Black-owned and led restaurants across the country.
