This macarons recipe is one part French treat and one part classic fall fare. The DIY candied apple macarons from the blog Sugar and Cloth combine the popular and dainty confection with the candy-coated apple on a stick many love to enjoy around this time of year. The result is an autumnally appropriate and oh so photographic snack sure to impress on the taste and the esthetics front.
To recreate this macarons recipe at home, you will need green macarons (either homemade or store-bought), a green food marker (to add shading and give more dimension), white chocolate melting chips, milk chocolate melting chips and sprinkles. You will also require lollipop sticks to complete the look as well as wax paper.
