Ma Yansong, a designer and the founder of MAD Architects, recently launched a new collection that imagines the kind of furniture that Martians would integrate into their homes for a Chinese gallery called ALL.
Due to his unique inspiration, Ma Yansong's creations have a futuristic look to them that's nothing short of artistic -- with fluid shapes, chromatic finishes, and minimalist color palettes comprising the collection.
Some of the pieces that are included are a curvaceous lounge chair that has a sleek black cushion on top of its icy support system, a gold coffee table that looks like it's melting from beneath, and a whimsical candle holder that features differently sized prongs in an abstract fashion.
