Following the success of JSAUX's first two third-party docking stations for Valve's 'Steam Deck' handheld computer, the company has recently debuted the 'M.2 Docking Station' as an enhanced version. This docking station features the same basic interface options as its predecessor, featuring two USB 3.1 ports, an HDMI out port, a gigabit ethernet port, and a USB-C power delivery port for fast-charging while docked.
However, the main upgrade of the M.2 Docking Station over its competitor is its new M.2 SSD slot hidden within the chassis. Simply unscrew the top section of the dock to reveal an SSD enclosure that allows for adding several terabytes of high-speed, reliable storage to the deck itself.
This new docking station can be purchased on its own for $129.99 USD, with a 1TB SSD for $199.99, or with a 2TB SSD for $269.99.
