Jumping on the tattooing bandwagon is luxury bag maker Coach.
For Summer 2009, Coach is offering a range of tattoo inspired bags in black, white and pink.
Coach's new line offers a variety of styles, from clutches to totes. Some bags even have pieces of chain attached to the strap.

Implications - In previous decades, tattoos were seen as taboo and were not to be shown off. Due to the shift in culture in recent years, people have been much more accepting of tattoos and understanding of the art behind them. Designers should include tattoo inspiration into their future designs to entice the modern-day, rebellious consumer.
