From its design studio in Hong Kong, Alvarae Design Studio, the creators of the very best in custom designed contemporary luxury furniture have done it again. Its latest creation is not only a luxury carbon fiber standalone bath but in the case of the La Baignoire, a color-changing furniture piece to inspire relaxation and suit one's mood.

Designed by Charles Wan, the strong sweeping lines and sculptural shape of this luxury bath offers an air of sophistication and style that fits in most modern or traditional interiors. In a world of traditional white bathrooms, the luxurious La Baignoire standalone bath has the flexibility to be positioned anywhere in the room. Constructed using a matrix of carbon fibre composite materials, it combines the very latest in design and technology. The standalone bath breaks all the rules, weighting less than 15kg and having a stiffness stronger than steel.

The bath's exterior walls are available in either a matte or polished finish. Its form is elevated above ground and supported by a bridge base structure made of composite materials coated with Nano Technology. This detail can be color-coordinated to match either the bath or bathroom surroundings. The silhouette of the bath is picked out using concealed soft LED lighting. This clever use of technology enables the interior color choice of red, blue, green, pink or sleek black.

The La Baignoire as been designed to create either a relaxing experience for one or a party of two and provides a spectacular focal point in any luxury bathroom.
