Lunchcruit is a new company designed to make recruiting new talent a more organic process, both for job seekers and companies. The idea is simple: Folks meet with companies over a free (for the person meeting the company) lunch. While out to lunch the company can share what it's working on and the person being courted can talk about themselves and their passions and skills.

Lunchcruit aims to create an experience that is "no pressure, zero-commitment, no strings attached." To that end it's recommended that companies don't send recruiters out to lunch. Instead, each applicant is matched with someone who has the same skills as them, i.e. software developers would meet with a fellow dev. Lunchcruit currently targets the tech industry and is live in San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York.
