Luminously Patterned Dresses

The Lume Collection by Elizabeth Bigger Glows Stylishly

The Lume Collection puts a stylish twist on the idea of wearable technology. Instead of going for something extremely futuristic as seen in the past, the Lume Collection concentrates on embellishing the common graphic designs often found on the front of tees. In this case, however, the abstract accents border collars and sexy slits at the back of the clothing items.

Designed by Elizabeth Bigger, the Lume Collection was recently showcased at the International Symposium on Wearable Computers in Zurich, Switzerland. Interestingly, the built-in LED lights can be controlled using a smartphone app and comes in a range of different colors as well as level of illumination. The Lume Collection is comprised of a dress, a tunic and a bomber jacket.
