The Inxects vest is part of the Gaia communication system developed by design studio Inxects as a wearable interface that enables nonverbal messaging through sensory outputs embedded directly into clothing. The vest integrates programmable LED panels, vibration motors, and inflatable textile elements that respond to incoming signals, allowing information to be communicated through changes in light patterns, pressure, and movement against the body.

These responses can represent predefined messages, alerts, or emotional cues without relying on screens or audio. The garment is constructed with modular components that can be removed or rearranged, and the electronic elements are distributed across the surface to maintain flexibility and wearability. Power and control systems are housed within the garment structure, enabling untethered use.
