Ghirardelli recently announced the debut of new Low-Sugar Chocolate Chips and No Sugar Added Chocolate Chips. To make the new low-sugar baking chip options, Ghirardelli uses a high percentage of cacao in the chocolate chips. The Low-Sugar Chocolate Chips are made with 72% cacao, so they taste similar to dark chocolate. On the other hand, the No Sugar Added Chocolate Chips are made with 100% cacao and are completely unsweetened.
