Fox Factory is giving the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 a more street-focused direction with the Black Widow SR, a lowered build designed to prioritise pavement driving over off-road capability. Starting at $84,685, the complete package gives buyers a finished truck rather than requiring them to source and install individual aftermarket parts.
The Black Widow SR produces up to 675 hp and sits on 22-inch black wheels, while a Ridetech suspension lowers the truck significantly for a more planted stance. The setup shifts the Silverado away from its traditional off-road image and towards a sharper, more road-oriented character.
Despite the lower stance and street-focused setup, the Black Widow SR retains the Silverado’s towing and payload capabilities. That gives the build a different balance from a typical performance truck, combining a more aggressive appearance and road-focused suspension with the practical functions expected from a full-size pickup.
