Chevrolet's 2027 Corvette Grand Sport and Grand Sport X are mid-engine sports convertibles featuring the new LS6 6.7-liter small-block V-8 and upgraded handling hardware. The Grand Sport pairs the LS6 with a rear-wheel drive layout and 535 hp, while the Grand Sport X adds an 186-hp front electric motor to create a 721-hp hybrid AWD system.
Both models use an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission and Michelin performance tires, and the Grand Sport X carries a 1.9-kWh NMC lithium-ion pack. Curb weights, tire specs, and measured acceleration figures underscore the focus on track-capable performance: 0–60 mph and quarter-mile benchmarks support their high-performance intent.
Drivers get linear power delivery, an adjustable Performance Traction Management system, and launch-control tuning for repeatable launches. The pair sharpens Chevrolet's performance halo by offering both combustion and hybrid routes to Corvette speed and handling.
