Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores has announced that it will be enhancing the customer experience with a new checkout system that will save shoppers valuable time. The POS systems will be the Ingenico Group's Lane/8000 smart terminals that are, according to the company, set to cut transaction time in half when used in conjunction with the brand's credit processing software. The system is projected to save shoppers a whopping 50,000 hours this year alone with the new technology that is being rolled out now with completion expected by April.
Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Technology Ginny Webb spoke on the new checkout systems saying, "This enhanced customer experience is part of our commitment to provide the cleanest, fastest and friendliest service on the highway. Time is money for professional drivers, so the quicker we can get them back on the road, the better off they'll be."
