Inanimate Garbage Sign Art

Yoonjin Lee Brings Life Into Scraps of Lost Art

Graphic designer Yoonjin Lee walks the streets of New York looking for objects and creating them into clever works of little lost art.

The Little Lost Project is compromised of tiny insignificant findings that have either fallen out of pedestrian's pockets or have been littered on the ground. She then adds clever cardboard signs that read sayings like, "Help! I'm lost" or "You're gonna miss me one day." The way she gives these inanimate objects these desperate signs is not only amusing but it also provides a sense of life and feeling to these otherwise lifeless scraps of garbage.

The artist makes you imagine how these objects would feel if they could possibly convey their emotions; if you've ever wondered what happened to that lip balm you used to carry around in your pocket, or that handy lighter, now you'll know when you see them holding up signs at you.
