Elegant Electric Cabs

The London Taxi Company is Introducing a Fleet of Sleek Electric Vehicles

The London Taxi Company is turning its signature all-black vehicles into eco-friendly electric taxi cabs.

The London Taxi Company's new cab is called the TX4 Euro 6. It runs on electricity with a back-up petrol-fueled motor. It produces pollution levels 71% lower than the London Taxi Company's previous Euro 5 model. The Euro 6 also introduces an elegant glass roof on the sleek black cab. Each cab is also wifi-enabled, allowing passengers to Tweet, email and Instagram at their leisure on every London Taxi Company ride.

The London Taxi Company was founded in 1899 and is owned by Geely, a Chinese automaker. This gives it added incentive and resources to stay on the cutting edge of automotive technology.
