Jean-Marie Massaud Presents the Lodge Collection

Furniture brand District Eight works in collaboration with French designer Jean-Marie Massuad to unveil the Lodge collection. It explores the designer's perspective of modern Vietnamese design and it is comprised of folding chairs, bag holders, and stools. District Eight is based in Ho Chi Minh city and the team played a big role in the design process through its expert craftsmanship from the local artisans.

The pieces were manufactured in-house and all of the details were paid close attention to. This collaboration allows the capsule to honor the design heritage of Vietnam while also bringing attention to its traditional techniques reimagined through a modern production process. The aesthetic is minimal with clean lines and an elegant function.
