CARROT Weather has released an update for its live weather app. The new update brings increased functionality to the app. Localized weather updates from Dark Sky were previously only available to users on Apple Watch or Mac, however CARROT's new update allows this data to be accessed on iOS. Another notable feature from the update are the precipitation notifications, where users will get live precipitation updates. Users will also get data for incoming storms and notifications of lighting that occurs close to users. Lastly, increased accuracy for pre-existing features is part of the CARROT Weather update.
Most of the new features rolled out in the update are part of CARROT's paid subscription service. The app has three different subscription types available, with each one offering increased functions depending on cost. CARROT has not confirmed if the update to its live weather app will come to Android.
