Double Dagger Studio Presents the Little Kitty, Big City Game

Matt T. Wood was a former Valve designer and now heads his own game development company dubbed Double Dagger Studio, which is also the brain behind the Little Kitty, Big City game. It is a cartoon-like game that stars Kitty, who goes on a mission to find its way home to an apartment complex in the busy city. It is an open-world game that sees the character making friends along the way, pestering people, and going on quests.

Designer Matt T. Wood explains that β€œIt really is more about cozy exploration. he game has aspects of platforming, but it's very light platforming. It's more about exploring vertically, and exploring nooks and crannies. I've done a lot of things throughout my career, but one of the things I spent a lot of time doing was level design in video games, so I have a lot of personal interest in creating spaces that feel fun to explore, to sort of poke around in.”
