German company Nanopool has created liquid glass, which is a spray-on, protective coat, one million of a millimetre thick, of pure silicon dioxide. The spray-on liquid glass shields from bacteria, dirst, UV rays and water, plus it is completely harmless to the environment.
One coat of the spray-on liquid glass onto a sterile surface and then washed with hot water is as good a using strong bleach to clean the area. Needless to say, germaphobes are greeting this invention with much happiness.
