Glisten Technologies Nanotechnology Keeps Diamonds Clean

Glisten Technologies announced a breakthrough in diamond protection with patented nanotechnology designed to maintain the natural brilliance of diamonds by repelling the natural buildup of oils and proteins. Over time, a diamond's glittering light refraction is diminished by a cloudy appearance but this new technology introduces an invisible and oil-repellent barrier, applied before the diamond is set, to prevent dirt, grime and other substances from bonding to the surface of stones.

This technology will benefit not only diamond owners but also manufacturers and retailers who desire brilliant diamonds, whether natural or lab-grown.

Research from Glisten Technologies and the University of California shows that protected diamonds "have the potential to add more than half a billion dollars of value to the jewelry industry in the next five years."
