Linux Computer Glasses

Raven Resonance Opens Raven Prism Pre-Orders for January 2027

Raven Resonance is bringing a computer you can wear like a pair of glasses to market with Raven Prism, now available for pre-order. Designed for developers, makers and workplace users, the prescription-style eyewear displays information directly in the wearer’s field of view, without needing to connect to a smartphone. It runs on RavenOS, the company’s Linux-based operating system, and responds to eye tracking and voice commands.

A full-colour waveguide display creates the equivalent of a virtual 16-inch screen at arm’s length. The device launches with more than 25 apps in its own app store, while its magnetic Raven Wings battery modules can be swapped without restarting the system. That means users can keep their work open while changing batteries.

Pre-orders require a refundable $49 deposit, with shipments to early adopters expected in January 2027. By combining its own operating system, display and replaceable batteries in a standalone wearable, Raven Prism is designed to function more like a compact computer than a traditional pair of smart glasses.
