These Sekhina Light Switches and Outlets Have a Plastic-Free Design

Conventional light switches and electric outlets are crafted with plastic, so these new Sekhina light switches and outlets have been designed in order to offer a more sustainable alternative to the increasingly controversial material. The prototype switches and sockets are achieved with a base of cement that has been decreased by 25% and paired with natural silicates. This enables them to be free from artificial resins and synthetic components, while also maintaining a decidedly more stylish design when compared to the plastic originals.

The Sekhina light switches and outlets are all characterized by their handmade design that helps to enhance their subtle variations across the surface. This will give the items their own distinct sense of rusticity and individual appeal.
