The LifePrint is a special photo printer that is designed to make it possible for you to print photos and enjoy them using futuristic augmented reality technology.
This device uses Hyperphoto technology which gives you the ability to embed video clips inside photos. When you look at the printed out photo, it looks like any old image -- but when you view it through the app, it becomes an augmented reality photo that plays the embedded video (up to 15 seconds) along with audio. The video doesn't have to be related to the photo, so you can get creative.
Augmented reality has already shown its promise in the areas of multimedia entertainment and gaming, but LifePrint proves that activities such as photography and printing also stand to gain from this futuristic technology.
