Although I never experienced dorm life, the Life in a Nutshell photo series really captures part of what I expected it would be like. Presenting the daily routine of studying and sleeping with some hanging around thrown into the mix, there is a youthful, carefree feel to these images that somehow negates the stressful feelings brought on by projects and exams.
Shot by Slovakia-based photographer Matus Opalka, the Life in a Nutshell photo series was inspired by his particular experience at college. With a rather quirky and quiet bird's eye perspective, Opalka lets us into his most private of spaces throughout the school year.
