The LG Rolling Bot is a home-monitoring device that looks as if it was taken out of a science fiction film. This sphere-shaped surveillance bot rolls along the floor to see what's going on inside the home.
The Rolling Bot surpasses most home surveillance gadgets as it is a multifaceted device that can be used to, not only monitor the home, but also amuse pets and control home appliances. It needs only Wi-Fi to connect, while its microphone speaker, an 8-megapixel camera and a laser pointer take care of the rest.
In addition to its playful qualities, the Rolling Bot is also fairly easy to use. With an accompanying smartphone app, users can control this droid while away or use their voice or laser pointer when inside of the home.
