This LG Fridge Sends Out a Tweet Whenever It is Opened

LG wanted to get people talking about its new door-in-door LG fridge and getting something online is one of the best ways to do this, however as LG notes, there aren't a lot of compelling conversations on the Internet about refrigerators.

So to generate some buzz, LG set up a fridge with a video camera inside of it and gave the fridge the ability to send out a tweet each time it was opened. To add some excitement, the LG fridge was delivered to the production company that belongs to Swedish comedian Peter Settman and throughout the day, the fridge was opened by celebrities who stopped by.

In December, LG sent the fridge to Santa's house at the North Pole, where people on Twitter could request fun things for Santa to do whenever he went to grab a snack from the tweeting fridge.
