Souvenirs can become some of the most cherished reminders of a trip, but baggage restrictions have become a quiet deterrent that stops travelers from seeking them out, picking them up or ever getting them home—and the Let It Fly initiative was created to reward travelers for supporting local businesses and craftsmanship.
Saudia created this program so that Kingdom Saudia Arabia visitors who purchase select cultural items receive luggage stickers inspired by Saudi cities, crafts and cultural heritage. At participating stores, every 50 SAR (about $13) spent earns one sticker, and each sticker adds 0.5kg of additional baggage allowance, up to a maximum of 1.5kg per bag.
Travellers are encouraged to share their cultural finds with #LetItFly, #SaudiaAirlines, and exclusive sticker redemptions are available at select airports.
