Cédric Verdure's 'Les Gardiens du Trésor' is lighting up this year's Nuit Blanche Paris. The artist works with various mediums to produce his multicolored sculptures, making use of recycled wire along the way.
Hollow bears and mystical creatures mark Les Gardiens du Trésor. The fictional beings are meant to protect the valuables at the Crédit Municipal de Paris, acting as inanimate guardians of the financial center.
Verdure collaborated with Timothy Toury who helped the put on the mesmerizing bursts of color. According to the website, the display is deliberately mystical as it invites guests to take "A stroll through the magical world of myths and light, a modern fairy tale accompanied by original music by Sophie Bommart." The dragons and ghostly figures will certainly enchant local Parisians and tourists.
