The 'LEGO-fied Pixar Story Rules' posters offer excellent snippets of insightful advice in a whimsically LEGO-filled form. Last year, Pixar story artist Emma Coats tweeted some precious tips and rules regarding Pixar's creative and competitive strategies. These rules explained that Pixar's notorious success and domination in animation had not been left up to sheer luck, but was the result of hard work and imagination.
After seeing these eye-opening tidbits of information, artist Alex Eylar, also known as ICanLegoThat, re-released these story-telling gems in a poster series filled with LEGO. For each of the company's "golden rules," Eylar used specific LEGO figurines to show the morals and the lessons that could be learned from each.
The creation of these posters was not commissioned by Pixar and as a result, Eylar had to make their presence known on his own; using social media and various other web-based outlets like Reddit, Eylar began to spread the word on the LEGO-fied Pixar Story Rules posters.
Although the rules and by consequence, the posters were created with story-tellers and writers in mind, these posters offer nuggets of knowledge that are applicable for everyday life.
