To keep your childhood dream of owning a hippie van and touring the world with it alive, you can now buy a LEGO VW Camper. Since the original VW Campers are still in high demand and therefore not cheap, you can now play with this sweet toy recreation.

The LEGO VW Camper model is a replica of the T1 Camper from 1962 and is built with 1,322 pieces. The toy contains all the stuff you would normally expect from a hippie van like a VW boxer engine above the rear axle, pop-up roof, sleeping bench and the much beloved red color. And it has a few very cool special items as well: What do you think about a lava lamp and a t-shirt that reads, "Make LEGO models, not war"?
