Voodoo Doughnut celebrated Leap Day in a cheeky way this year with its creative Leapling Doughnut.

Created to celebrate the magic of Leap Day, Voodoo Doughnut's Leapling Doughnut was available exclusively on February 29, 2024 – Leap Day. The limited-edition doughnut was a frog-shaped pastry decorated in a vibrant green “voonilla” frosting, complete with a frog's eyes, mouth, and sticking out tongue. As Chris Schultz, CEO of Voodoo Doughnut, says of the special doughnut, "With the Leapling Doughnut, we want to honor those who aren’t celebrated enough – the leaplings. It’s a once-every-four-years occasion, and we’re here to make it extra special. Plus, once Leap Day is gone, the Leapling Doughnut won’t be seen again for at least another four years!"
